It is indicated in the treatment of respiratory infectious processes with mycoplasmal complication, enzootic pneumonia, pleuropneumonia of sheep and goats, mastitis, pododermatitis, mycoplasmal arthritis, swine dysentery and swine erysipelas.

In cattle, swine, sheep, and goats. It is a sterile solution for parenteral use.
Tylosin is a macrolide antibiotic, chemically characterized by a very large lactone ring in its structure. These macrolides are glycosides in which the lactone is linked to two sugars, one of which is an amino sugar. This antibiotic, like other macrolides, is obtained from a strain of Streptomyces.

FORMULA:
Each 100 ml contains:
Tylosin base 20.0 g
Vehicle, q.s. 100.0 ml
DOSE:
Cattle: 2 to 5 ml/100 kg of body weight per day or the equivalent of 4 to 10 mg/kg of body weight. Swine, Sheep and Goats: 1 ml/20 kg of body weight per day or the equivalent of 10 mg/kg of body weight.
Every 24 hours for 4 to 5 days.
