It is a broad-spectrum antimicrobial indicated for the treatment of infections caused by GRAM-positive and GRAM-negative germs susceptible to the combination of sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim. It acts against infections of the respiratory tract, digestive tract, and urinary tract.

Formula
 Each tablet contains:
Sulfamethoxazole..............................400 mg
Trimethoprim................................80 mg
Excipient q.s.................................1 Tablet

Species
Horses (not intended for human consumption).

Dose
One tablet per 16kg of weight (30 mg/kg of weight) every 12 hours.

Route of Administration
Oral, grind the tablets and dissolve them in water and apply directly to the equine, or once ground mix with a little bran so that it can be ingested by the equine.
