PIROFLOX® 10%: Broad spectrum bactericide and mycoplasmicide indicated for the treatment of respiratory diseases in poultry (broiler chickens), pigs and cattle (meat and milk producers) caused by Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria and mycoplasmas, whether single or mixed, such as: Escherichia coli, Enterobacter spp, Klebsiella spp, Proteus spp, Corynebacterium spp, Salmonella spp, Pseudomona aeruginosa, Haemophilus psp, Pasteurella multocida, Actynobacillus pleuroneumoniae, Staphylococcus spp, Streptococcus spp, and Mycoplasma spp. Its formulation allows the product to be used both parenterally and in drinking water. FORMULA
Enrofloxacin: 100 mg, CBP Vehicle: 1 ml.

DOSE

Intramuscular

  • Birds: Administer 5 to 10 mg/kg of body weight, equivalent to 0.05 to 0.1 mL for each kg of body weight for 3 to 5 consecutive days.
  • Pigs: 1 mL per 40 kg of body weight (2.5 mg/kg of body weight) for 3 to 5 consecutive days. Subcutaneous:
  • Bovines: 1 to 3 mL per 40 kg of body weight (2.5 to 7.5 mg/kg of body weight), at the discretion of the MVZ, for 3 to 5 consecutive days. See attached instructions.


ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION

Intramuscular in pigs and poultry. Subcutaneous in cattle.

WARNINGS

This is a veterinary product, not for human use. Store at room temperature no higher than 30°C and protect from light. Keep out of reach of children. Do not administer volumes greater than 5 mL in pigs and 15 mL in cattle at the same application site. Do not administer to birds producing eggs for human consumption.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD

The slaughter of birds intended for human consumption must wait at least 5 days after the last administration. In the case of cattle and pigs, this period must be at least 14 days. • Withdrawal period in milk: 84 hours (3.5 days) after the last treatment.
