Treatment of infectious pododermatotis.

It is an astringent, antiseptic, healing, and fungicidal formulation that, upon drying, forms a protective film that allows it to remain on the affected area longer. It is an adjunct in the treatment of infectious pododermatitis in cattle, sheep, and goats. Mode of action: A high concentration of copper within the cell causes oxidative stress and the generation of hydrogen peroxide under these conditions. Copper participates in the so-called Fenton-type reaction, which causes oxidative damage to microorganisms.

Instructions:

Pata Chueca Gel promotes the growth of the hoof's horny plate by soothing the irritation caused by its active ingredient in cases of pododermatitis from various causes. Excess moisture promotes softening and infection of the hooves, leading to pododermatitis and other conditions such as hairy warts. Pata Chueca Gel regulates moisture by dehydrating the hoof, while also exerting a local antimicrobial action and soothing the irritation of the horny plate, thus promoting its growth. In horses, it is indicated for the care of the hoof, sole, and frog; highly recommended for sore and soft hooves.
