It is indicated for cattle in the finishing stage in feedlots to improve feed conversion efficiency, weight gain, carcass performance, and reduce the accumulation of cover fat.
1KG / Zilpaterol hydrochloride 4.8% + Excipient q.s. 1000 g
Dose;
Feed continuously for 30 days during the final fattening phase: 125 g of Grofactor® per ton of feed (90% dry matter); equivalent to a dose of 0.15 mg/kg in 400 kg animals consuming 10 kg of feed daily.
For the most accurate calculation of the amount of Grofactor to include in the diet, the following formula can be considered.
3.125 (Constant) x Average body weight (kg)
__________________________________________ = Grams of Grofactor® per ton of feed. Average feed consumption (kg)
Oral administration (mixed in food).
WARNINGS
Avoid ingestion, inhalation, and contact with skin and eyes. The active ingredient in Grofactor® is zilpaterol hydrochloride, a potent beta2-adrenergic agonist. In case of accidental contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water. In severe cases of ingestion or inhalation, consult a physician and show them the product formula; in these cases, a beta2-adrenergic agonist, such as propranolol, may be useful under medical supervision.
Grofactor® contains an anti-dust excipient to reduce the risk of poisoning upon inhalation; however, protective equipment (exclusive clothing, gloves, a filter mask, and goggles) is recommended during handling.
The presence of microtracers in Grofactor® allows the product to be traced on the cores and feed, making it easier for the user to handle in the feedlot.
For long-term storage, keep Grofactor® in a cool, dry place, tightly closed, and at a maximum temperature of 30°C. Under extreme weather conditions (50°C and 90% humidity), it remains stable for at least 3 months.
Keep out of reach of children and pets, as well as people not trained in handling.
Withdrawal period: Treatment must be discontinued at least 72 hours (3 days) before slaughtering animals for human consumption.
