Steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, indicated for the treatment of

• Inflammatory processes in fattening cattle and swine caused by traumatic injuries, bronchopneumonia, osteoarthritic lameness, non-septic arthritis, rheumatism and discoid syndrome.
• Metabolic disorders (ketosis in cattle).
• Adjuvant in hypocalcemia, mastitis, metritis in swine and cattle, provided that adequate antibacterial treatment is carried out.
• Allergies, dermatosis, inflammations in general, ocular and musculoskeletal in domestic canines and felines.

FORMULA

Each ml contains: Dexamethasone 21 sodium phosphate: 2 mg, Vehicle q.s.: 1 ml.

DOSE PER ANIMAL

As a single dose or daily for 3 to 5 days

Cattle being fattened: 2.5 to 10 ml, which corresponds to 5 to 20 mg per animal.

Swine: 0.5 to 5 ml, which corresponds to 1 to 10 mg per animal.

Canines: 0.35 to 0.75 ml per 10 kg of body weight, which corresponds to 0.07 to 0.15 mg per kg of body weight.

Domestic cats: 0.2 to 0.75 ml per 10 kg of body weight, which corresponds to 0.04 to 0.15 mg per kg of body weight.

WARNINGS

Do not use this product 35 days before slaughter of animals intended for human consumption. Do not administer to dairy cows producing milk for human consumption. Do not use this product in immunocompromised animals, or for prolonged periods without veterinary supervision. Except for emergency therapy, do not use in animals with chronic nephritis and hyperadrenocorticism (Cushing's syndrome). It is relatively contraindicated in cases of diabetes, osteoporosis, and congestive heart failure. Do not administer to pregnant females. Store in a cool, dry place, protected from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children and/or pets. Dispose of the empty and/or unused container according to local environmental regulations.
