Butaphenyl Compound

Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antirheumatic. It acts against pain in the musculoskeletal system in inflamed tissues such as muscles, ligaments, tendons, joint fascia, and synovial sheaths. It also acts on spinal cord injuries caused by paralysis that occurs in postpartum cows due to nerve root compression near the intervertebral discs.

FORMULA:

Each mL contains:

Phenylbutazone 200 mg

Sodium salicylate 50 mg

Vehicle, q.s. 1 mL.

DOSE:

Equines: 5-10 ml / 450 kg of body weight (equivalent to 1-2 g), every 24 hours and a maximum of 5 days. Bovines: 20 - 30 ml/day Goats, sheep and pigs: 10 ml every 24 hours Canines and felines: 0.11 ml/kg of body weight/every 8 hours, do not exceed 4 ml/animals/day. In dogs, limit this to 2 consecutive days by intravenous route and continue with oral medication.

ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION:

Very slow intravenous.

USE IN:

Bovines, equines, caprines, ovines, porcines, canines, felines.

WARNINGS:

Do not administer to horses intended for human consumption. Do not consume meat from treated animals within 8 days of the last application. Do not consume milk until 4 milkings have passed since the last application. Do not inject subcutaneously. Do not administer to animals with cardiac, kidney, liver, and/or hematological damage. This product is for veterinary use only. Use sterile material when applying. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight. Keep at a temperature between 15° and 30°C.
